We are so excited to do a blog "switch" with our friends at Sizzix in the UK! We will be showcasing projects today, and on Friday, from a couple of their very talented designers. Tomorrow and Thursday our very own Louise and Maiko will be on the European Sizzix blog to share their projects. Click here to visit the Sizzix UK blog!
Please help us give Elena Roche a very warm welcome!
Hi, everybody! Elena here. I’m so excited to be part of this Sizzix UK - Prima blog switch. I’ve had a lot of fun playing with these products that combine so well together. I have created a decorative frame that is very romantic and springy.
This decorative frame is very easy to make. Just cut out and layer some pretty paper in the picture frame. Then, using your Big Shot machine, die cut some tags out of more pattern paper and adhere using foam squares.
Make a bouquet with the Prima flowers, some die cut leaves and a beautiful ribbon and glue it on the tags. Embellish your frame with a paper clip, some twine, pearls, and, as a final touch, my favourite technique with Prima paper: Cover some elements with Glossy Accents. It will give them volume and shine and make them even prettier.
I hope you enjoyed! ~Elena
