For all those card and tag makers out there...YES, you can also use Mixed Media techniques when making your projects!
Mixed Media Lady Bird Card

Gerry featured background and clear stamps, as well as 6x6 stencils!
Gerry's card is bright and happy! Let's see how she created it:
1. I created a 5"x6" card. For the background I used two different masks and two different stamps.
2. When the masked clock was dry I colored only the numbers with yellow Copic Marker.
3. I added a round journaling sticker in the middle of the design. After that I colored the dots with a Blue Copic Marker.
4. The Butterfly was first stamped (Lyric #2 clear stamp), then cut out
and, as a final touch, I added transparent Crackle Paint.
5. When the birdcage was cut out from the pattern paper the three doors
were cut so then can stay open - underneath I added yellow pattern paper
so they`ll pop up.

Stacey's sweet and feminine card is filled with texture! What are her secrets?
"I loved creating this card. It is so sparkly like you wouldn't
believe! I started out by using the mask with some modelling paste, I
then added the paper layers and wrapped some string around the top area
of the card. I added the resin piece and trim, then placed my flowers
down the vine.
I found little spots for all of my extra embellishments
and then started spraying away with my Shimmerz. If there was too much
bright colour on there from the spray I simply applied some Gesso back
over those sections to tone down the colour." ~Stacey

Canvas MM Cards

Featuring these Prima Products: wood clips, fabric & washi tapes, washi tape stamps!
Felicity created two beautiful, texture-filled, canvas cards for us!
Directions:
Step 1: Apply some texture paste using a 6 x 6 stencil. Then spray over the top of it.
Step 2: Using a Faber Castell Gelato colour a little at the top, then spray with water to blend the Gelato in.
Step 3: Tear some small pieces of the washi and fabric tapes and the adhere them with some random zig zag stitching.
Step 4: Cute off a small piece of the trim and adhere over the top of the tape.
Step 5: Then adhere your little flower cluster and a few wood embellishments and clips.
Step 6: Add your title. Using some Gesso and little water, white wash the tag to blend it altogether.

Altered MM Tag

How to: color the stamp with a black marker-only catching the outline. Then paint with gesso.
