Today Leslie Ashe brings us a SPOOKY fun Halloween project idea using Prima's new Trick or Treat Bats and Vines!
...................................................................................
Carving pumpkins is a fun tradition – even to college-aged girls!
My daughter {Savannah"} & her room mates, while home from college for the weekend, wanted to go to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin to carve together.
I drove them out on a dreary rainy day to one of the BEST pumpkin patches here in our part of Texas. It’s like a little town fair...pumpkins everywhere, hayrides, yummy fall food, things to purchase...a fall dream come true!
The girls looked and looked & discovered “Jack.” They even named him. They decided they wanted him to have all bat features. They giggled non-stop as they carved away. It was a lot of fun to see girls, even at age 19, have the best time together carving a pumpkin.
I just had to scrap “Jack.” He’s got “batty” eyes, a batty smile...he’s just batty cute!
When I saw bats in my Prima DT loot – I about DIED knowing how perfect “Jack” would be surrounded by them!
Tip: I took the original “Trick or Treats Bat Vine” and cut it up – adding in the other Trick or Treats (Harvest, Night Flight) all together in a huge collage of “batty”.
It was fun adding each element. I think it tells the story of our “Jack.” (O-Lantern!)
