My name is Marie-Nicolas ALLIOT. On the net, I am also known by the name of maniscrap. I'm 32 and I live in Normandy, France, with my husband and four children. My mom taught me from when I was very small to tinker: sewing, painting, knitting, embroidery ... I love anything creative.
I have always been into photography. With my first check, I bought my first reflex camera, a Pentax film. Since then I have switched to digital. I enjoy learning every day to use it: play with the shutter speed, light, depth of field ... it is a real passion.
I discovered this hobby in 2007 after the birth of my third son. I had tinkered with his invitations and scrapbooking papers with my first stamps! Since then, my office has turned into a scraproom, and my time spent scrapping has increased. I love the escape it provides me and the meetings through the courses that I teach. It is always fun to look for new ideas to share. These exchanges bring me a lot!
If I had to define my scrap style in several words I would say: colorful, fun and happy! I love playing with color, material, ink! I use a lot of these to stamp and also spray. I love the spots! They bring the fantasy to my layouts. I am very pleased to use the masks by Prima! I love the effect they give. I have used them to create this mini album canvas:
To use this with 2 colors: Put the masks on the canvas.
Remove the ink that is on your mask with paper towel so the colors of the inks do not mix.
Apply your second color. You can speed up the drying time with a heat gun.
For more fancy results, you can use two different masks with 2 colors. Place your first mask down and color.
Then put the empty space on the second mask with paper and hidden part already colorized. Then apply your second color.
With all the masks that Prima offers you have lots of possible combinations!
I love to use couture in my creations. And to play with embellishments. I like to play with the overlay effect. I'm a fan of clustering and mixing materials: fabric, paper, wood, metal and other ...

For this page I also use liquid inks to make my drips. I apply my color to the edge of the paper and I straightened the ink to flow. Sometimes I add a little water to soften the color.
I love this fabric word. They are really interesting to give volume and texture to the page...and the color is fantastic!
To give a final touch of color to my page: I added Says it in Crystals. I adore playing with this and adding to my spot!
Finally-I glue cinderella gems under the roses for more fantasy!
