Cari started by painting her CIU. She used Krylon's Indoor/Outdoor spray paint in watermelon. Cover the silver ring with tape while giving every other surface a good three coats. This paint dries quickly, but leave at least 24 hours after your last coat to start decorating. (Use a well-ventilated area for painting.)
Cari then started decorating the base
using a variety
of Prima flowers, Felt De Vines, Pearl Accents and a butterfly.
Apply the pearl and felt pieces first, then add the largest flowers, slowly filling in the base with smaller flowers.
Once you are done painting and decorating you can fill the CIU with ANYTHING your heart desires. Cari shows us two ideas for her gorgeous project.
Even 12x12 papers hang neatly on the CIU so you can see what you have at a glance.

Clip It Up Storage Tips: You can really get a lot of product stored neatly and easily on one CIU! Check out these additional tips for making the most of your CIU.
Prima's alphabet packages fit perfectly on the regular-sized CIU. If you buy two alphas of the same color here's a great tip: To save on space slide used alpha sheets in the back of a new package. Not only do you eliminate an extra package hanging there, but you can grab all of the same-colored letters at once to see what you have.
This back-to-back storage tip will work with a lot of different products so keep it in mind. And DON'T throw the extra packaging away! You can also clip two or more packages on the same clip. Do this with similar items that are not exactly alike. It saves a bit of space and you'll have more clips available for other items.
Use your extra letter packaging to house four or five packages of flowers. Just stick their smaller packages inside the larger package, seal and clip it up. Now you can flip through your CIU and see four flower choices at once. It saves space and time.
You can stick stamps sets back to back in one package too. And stick a bunch of small items (like our Dynasty centers) in one large re-used Prima package. So simple, yet you can see everything at once!
Try this tip with leaves, small flowers, SIIP centers, E-Line pearls/flowers, pieces of lace, Felt DeVines, etc. You will get a TON of mileage with your CIU by simply re-using your larger packaging for small packages and by trying the back-to-back tip. Tips and tip photos by Sharon Laakkonen
