That's right!
Prima and Tattered Angels manufacture products that work so well together that we decided to do a special feature each Monday in April! We will be showing you how to use these company's products TOGETHER to create some very FUN projects!
To add to the FUN we decided to have a little give-away at the end of the promotion! Be sure to check out the projects from both design teams and then get your name in the drawing on the THIRD Monday of April.
The give-away will include Prima Paintables, Voila die-cut strips, lots of white flowers, Tattered Angels Glimmer Screens, two bottles of Glimmer Mist and a few Framed Fonts!
............................................................................................................................................
Let's see what the two design teams have for us TODAY!
First off we have a few links to check out what the Tattered Angels gals have been up to:
Vicki Chrisman has some GORGEOUS projects featured on her blog!
Cheryl McAdam also has a few AMAZING projects featuring Prima and Tattered Angels that she has posted on her blog!
.................................................................................................................................................
The Prima Gals have also been having fun playing with all of these fantastic products and here is what they have come up with:
Sharon Laakkonen used lots of Glimmer Mist to color her white flowers (529567), butterfly Framed Font and Voila die-cut strip (880088)! For extra impact start out with a neutral background (black glittered transparency-881023.) Spray your flowers with four colors of Glimmer Mist (Sharon used: Patina, Scarlet, Lemon Zest and English Ivy.) You can also color the white Voila strip with Glimmer Mist and then use the backing too!
Tip: Spray your flowers on a plastic mat. After spraying pick up the flowers and lightly swipe the edges through the over-spray for a custom touch! Once the flowers are dry add touches of Stickles glitter glue for a sparkly touch.
Sharon also created an ART Journal for her daughter! Using the BACK of a paper Paintable (811204) Sharon sprayed Tuscan Sun Mist first. Then she set down the Glimmer Mask. Adding sprays of Sunflower and Coffee add lots of depth to the coloring. Finishing with Patina adds a touch of blue-green to the bottom area! (Repeat for back of journal flipping the screen and the colors around.)
Add Voila strips, crystals and letters to finish off the journal! To color the letters use a paint brush dipped in the Glimmer Mist instead of spraying it.
TIP: Not wanting to waste the Glimmer Mist that was sprayed on the Screen...Sharon then lifted the screen off the sprayed Paintable paper and used it AS A STAMP on a blank sheet of paper (See photo above!) Save this stamped image for another project!
................................................................................................................................................
Amy Parker created a BEAUTIFUL hanging using lots of Glimmer Mist, Framed Fonts (letters) and Prima products! Amy took frames she found in a dollar bin and turned them into a lovely keepsake! Just use sprays of Scarlet Glimmer Mist on the flowers (100018), ribbons, Say It In Pearls (529291), letters (Framed Fonts by TA) and paper (812942, 810450) to bring it all together! Amy even sprayed the frames and gently wiped most of the Mist off...the effect was a slightly-colored frame with a touch of sparkle!
.......................................................................................................................................................
Amy also used Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens and lots of fun Prima products to create this stunning layout using Rebellious papers (840419, 840440)! Amy used the screens on her flowers as she sprayed them for a really cool effect! She also sprayed our burlap sheets (530051) and our Say It in Pearls (529291)...now how fun is that?
Tip: Be careful when spraying Glimmer Mist on normal paper. It may buckle slightly. Simply spray lightly and then set a heavy book on top (with a sheet of plastic in between the book and paper). This will let it dry flat without getting the Mist on your book.
.............................................................................................................................................................
We hope you have enjoyed our first feature with Tattered Angels! Be sure to check back EACH Monday in April for more fun projects from BOTH teams and for a chance to win the give-away (on the third Monday!)
