October's Build-A-Page is Here!

The October Build-A-Page™ sketch by Anam Stubbington uses three 4x6 prints, along with a trio of embellishments, a great title area and lots of room to display some of your favorite patterned papers in the background!

Versatility is not a problem as this sketch can be the springboard for any subject! How about joining in this month with our BAP challenge! You simply use the sketch as the base for a layout or other project, upload it to the Prima contest gallery (write BAP- October in the headline). Prima will then choose one lucky winner to receive their favorite paper pack! The deadline for entering is October 25th. (September's winner will be posted soon!)

Janine Langer created a shaped layout that is simply stunning! The Prima papers provide fantastic contrast when coupled with black, while the Belle Fleur flowers (523640) provide tons of texture! A whimsical title about Shrek is created with Letter Perfect felt letters and a few pieces of Prima lace ground the design.

Ingvild Bolme created this gorgeous layout about her darling daughter learning how to walk. The sketch provided the framework and then Ingvild added her own special touches...the birds, flowers and fence were cut out of Prima Paintables (811266, 811341). The title is made with Flocked letters and a single Painterly Petal draws your eye to the first photo.

Amy Hutchinson gives the sketch a bolder spin while creating this layout all about color! Each strip on the design is a Prima paper or sparkly ribbon, while Amy uses Flocked letters to create the title on the photos (fun idea or what?) A few Prima flowers ground the photos and provide a great splash of color!

Tish Treadaway created this SPOOKY layout using the new line, "Little Boo". A large Say It In Crystals black swirl adds a great touch, while Little Boo rub-ons (860226) add color. Tish made her own bats with curled wings too! She drew the bats on printer paper to create a pattern. She then cut them out of black cardstock.  After applying glitter glue (Black Diamond Stickles by Ranger) all over the bats they curled up! How cool is that?

Cindy Tobey rocked the design with her "OUCH" layout based in this month's sketch! Mixing Little Guy papers (820909) and Hello, Spaceboy papers (880514), Cindy adds three large photos and a whimsical cardboard arrow from the Down Home Collection! Cindy placed cardstock behind the Voila felt star border to add a pop of color, and painted her chipboard letters so they would match the layout! What a great way to stretch your scrap dollars!

Sharon Laakkonen created this wedding layout using three 4x6 photos of her daughter and new son-in-law. Peaches paper is used as the backdrop, along with a glittered white transparency (881016), while a Frillies flower takes center stage. Sharon created her title from a clear paintable (812553) that she trimmed to fit over the photo. Prima's new Pebbles (880712) are perfect for a flower center (see upper left of layout) and a few crystals add the perfect hint of sparkle to this romantic page!
