Michelle Van Etten returned from CKU-Nashville where she taught a few Prima classes. Here are some highlights from the whole experience! A special thank you to the class sponsors, Ranger, Yasutomo, Beacon Adhesives and Krylon.

" I had so much fun in
Nashville and met so many amazing women. My adventure started with
jetting off the plane and to my class at
Scrappuccino. Lola, Cathy and the other ladies who work there, "You
rock! Thanks for the great apron." After my last CKU I had a great idea
to create an apron with hand-made flowers. (Photo by the talented Candice Stringham!) ..................................................................................................................................
"Scrappuccino made my apron
and flowers came from all over as far as Brazil TY(FAFA). Each one is
uniquely different and very special. I even have an heirloom flower made
by Becky’s grandma 75 years ago. I will treasure this apron
always."

"Here is the staff at Scrappaccino that made my beautiful apron.
................................................................................................................
"Thank you to all who came to my class. I hope you enjoy your "Just Us" albums! A big thank you to Kana and the girls for getting me back to the hotel safe and sound."
If you would like to create a flower for my apron please email me:
trendyscrapper@gmail.com.
I would love to have enough flowers to create a whole floral
ensemble."

"The make-n-takes were on Thursday, and
I started out working it by myself. Wow! Before long, the ladies from
my class had come over to help me. I
ended up with five volunteers, which helped make Prima's make-n-take a huge success. We had some amazing sponsors!! Ranger inks and craft mats; Yasutomo's great
water brushes; Krylon's gold pens and Beacon Adhesives' Fabric-tac used to adhere all
the elements."
...............................................................................................................
"Tami, Prima's Creative Director, stopped in to help with the
make-n-takes. Here she is at the front of the make-n-take line."
...............................................................................................................
"The make-n-take ran non-stop! We had a line for hours. I love
this picture of Tami creating her own make-n-take using the beautiful array of Ranger inks and the fabulous Yasutomo water brushes on a Prima Paintable."

"Thank you again to everyone who was such a big
help! You are all teacher’s pets."

"The
CKU class was amazing. We had so much fun. The room was packed and
everyone had a great time creating their treasure box! Here are some shots of the classes working on their boxes and receiving a few door prizes."
......................................................................................................................
"Here
are a few pictures of me painting a mass of boxes. The original painted boxes were
lost in transit, so I painted 100 new boxes so that the student could
finish the projects. That was a challenge. My best friend, Annie, who
lives in Nashville, helped me paint for two days. In the end, they were all
done and the classes were a huge success and everyone loved their
treasure boxes. I had such a great time meeting so many wonderful
women ready to lend a helping hand, "Thank you. I am forever grateful."

"I
was so sad to say goodbye. I made so many friends and had a wonderful
CKU experience. This was my first year teaching at CKU and the
faculty and staff was so warm and inviting. I have become good
friends with the other instructors and look forward to teaching with
some of them in October and the rest next year.
I
have been asked to teach on the Ultimate Scrapbook Cruise in Jan
2009. Look for the full page ad in upcoming months of CK." ~Michelle Van Etten
