1. When did you start scrapbooking and how did you get started? I started scrapbooking in high school during my senior year. My final English exam was to turn in a scrapbook that we, the students, had worked on throughout the year. It wasn't until my twin boys were about two that I was introduced to it again. After that I dabbled in it, but the last year it has become very therapeutic. Creating makes me happy. It is "my time".
.
2. From where do you draw inspiration? Everywhere. Lately it has been from lots of magazines...mostly home magazines. I love looking at color and how it is used in different ways. I also love fabric.
.
3. Describe your style for us. My style of scrapbooking is constantly changing. I go from one extreme to the other. Some days it is all about being vintage with lace and soft colors. The next day is all about being bold and loud with color. It really just depends on my mood.
.
4. How do you go about designing a page? I really do not try to put a lot of thought into a page before I begin. I usually find a photo first. After I have the photo I sit down with my favorite papers and just begin...simple steps, but they lead to quite a mess. I always have a ton of stuff to clean up after I finish a page.
.
5. In general, how long does it take you to do a page? Most of the time it takes around 4-5 hours. If I didn't have to leave my area every fifteen minutes because of my children I would get it done in around 2 hours! It has taken me longer to finish a page. Just depends on my mood.
.
6. What is your favorite Prima product? The Lucid collection is just my favorite...the Big Box Blooms...I love the colors and the beauty of them...I also love the rub-ons...I think the Prima Sprites are too adorable. Okay, I love it all!
.
7. What is/was one of your favorite scrapbook trends/fads? Sanding. I can't live without my sandpaper. I love it.
.
8. Is there anything else you'd like to share with us? I am just so happy to be here and share my work with all of you. My blog is

We love how
Tammy cut the
"Lucid" patterned paper to create a cascade of flowers framing this beautiful photo! The large
"Ambrosia" Prima flower and
"Lucid" chipboard accent add texture, while the string of pearls complete this stunning layout.

"Beauty" is the perfect title for this Prima-filled design! Starting with a mix of papers from both the "Lucid" and "Just Us" lines, the large "Carnival" flower draws your eye to the lovely photo which is surrounded by perfect little embellishments! We love how the "Lucid" butterfly adds movement to this layout!

WOW! This layout has it all! Starting with a patterned paper base (from the
"Just Us" and
"Lucid" collections)
Tammy created a Prima-filled layout that causes one to sit and soak in all of the little touches. From the
"Lucid" chipboard frame (which has a few mini-brads added)...to the
"Lucid" butterflies flying across the layout...from the absolutely inventive
"leaves" (that
Tammy created out of patterned paper and tucked in behind the "
Ambrosia" flowers) to the quote tucked behind a
"Lucid" chipboard frame...everything works so well together to create an absolutely exquisite design!
